This project aims to create a replicable rental building system that is flexible and adaptable for social housing up to 100 people. It has been designed with no specific tenant in mind and allows continual adaptations. It has the potential to incorporate changing demographics, including the ability to arrange different housing configurations prior to occupation as well as the possibility of adjusting housing over time. Rooms can be added or subtracted accommodating family number changes or tenants changes. It also allows adding additional rooms to incorporate daytime needs and nighttime needs.

The opportunity to change the use or configuration provides a level of choice, for both tenants and their public sector landlords. It gives the end-users a choice of how to use the space instead of architecturally predetermining residents lives. It provides a private domain that can fulfil each expectation, accommodate the vicissitudes of everyday use over a long period of time.
